Brief About Dr. Mahalakshmi Ratnavale
Dr. Mahalakshmi Ratnavale is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 30 years of expertise. She is currently serving as a Consultant at Island Hospital Penang, Malaysia.
Dr. Ratnavale offers a wide range of services including the management of High-Risk Pregnancies, Medical disorders during pregnancy, and Prenatal diagnosis. She obtained her MBBS degree from the University of Mysore, India in 1985, and later pursued MMed from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1994.
Dr. Ratnavale is registered with the Malaysian Medical Council under the registration number 26191 since 1981. Apart from English, she is also fluent in Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, and Hokkien.
Her special interests lie in the field of Chromosomal anomalies and Thalassemia, Feto Maternal Medicine, Infertility, as well as 3D/4D Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
