Dr. Mahesh Gopashetty is a highly experienced Transplant Surgeon based in Bangalore, India. With over 22 years of expertise in the field, he has successfully performed more than 1600 liver transplants and over 100 small intestine transplants. Dr. Gopashetty specializes in treating patients with chronic liver disease who require organ transplants due to decompensated hepatic function. His surgical skills extend to various areas including general, breast, vascular, and colorectal surgery.
Dr. Gopashetty’s clinical interests encompass a wide range of transplant surgeries, including Paediatric Liver Transplants, Living Donor and Cadaveric Donor Liver Transplants, Small Intestine Transplants, Portal Hypertension Surgeries, Complex Pancreatic Surgeries, Kidney & Pancreas Transplants, and Complex Liver Transplants. His extensive experience in multi-organ transplantation, gained through a fellowship, has further enhanced his expertise in the field of transplantology.
