Brief About Dr. Malathi Sathiyasekaran
Dr. Malathi Sathiyasekaran is a pediatric gastroenterologist based in Chennai, India, with over 30 years of experience. She is a Senior Consultant at MGM Healthcare. Dr. Malathi has received several prestigious awards, including the Outstanding Achievement Award on International Women’s Day from The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University in 2012, the St John’s Ambulance Best Doctor Award from the Governor of Tamil Nadu in 2010, and the Excellence in Service on International Women’s Day from the Board for Women’s Concerns, CSI Diocese of Madras in 2008.
She has a strong background in teaching, with over 25 years of experience, and has contributed to numerous national and international publications. Dr. Malathi completed her MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, Diploma in Child Health from Christian Medical College, Vellore, MD in Pediatrics from Madras Medical College, Chennai, and DM in Gastroenterology from Madras Medical College, Chennai.
