Brief About Dr. Manohar Babu
Dr. Manohar Babu is a highly experienced Pediatric Orthopedician with a career spanning 22 years. He is currently based in Bangalore, India, and serves as a consultant at Rainbow Children’s Hospital & BirthRight on Bannerghatta Road.
Dr. Babu specializes in limb reconstruction and deformity correction in both pediatric and adult patients. He is also skilled in performing complex pelvic osteotomies and treating pelvic & acetabular fractures.
Dr. Babu completed his MBBS in 2001 and MS in Orthopedics in 2006 from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. He is a respected member of various medical associations, including the Karnataka Medical Council, Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, UK, Bangalore Orthopedic Society, Indian Orthopedic Society, Karnataka Orthopedic Association, and AO Spine.
Throughout his career, Dr. Babu has pursued further training and obtained multiple fellowships to enhance his expertise. He has completed fellowships in Pediatric Orthopedics from KK Women and Children Hospital in Singapore and the National University of Singapore. He has also received training in Deformity Correction and Pediatric Orthopedics from Canada, Adult Reconstruction from Singapore, and Hip and Knee Surgery from Mayo Clinic in the USA.
Dr. Babu’s special interests lie in Spinal Disc Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Childhood bone and soft tissue tumors, and Skeletal Dysplasias. With his extensive experience and diverse skill set, he is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to his patients.
