Brief About Dr. Mayur Mhatre
Dr. Mayur Mhatre, a distinguished Neurologist based in Mumbai, India, boasts over a decade of experience in the field. He is affiliated with Apollo Hospitals in Mumbai and is a proud member of the Neurological Society of India (NSI) and the Bombay Neurosurgical Association. Dr. Mhatre completed his MBBS from MGM Medical College Navi Mumbai in 2003, followed by an MS in General Surgery from L T Medical College, Mumbai in 2008. He further pursued a specialization in Neuro Surgery, obtaining an MCh from Bombay Hospital Mumbai in 2011. Dr. Mhatre’s academic achievements include securing the First Rank in MGM Medical College during the third term, as well as ranking Second in the University in Microbiology and Neurosurgery.
He has gained international exposure through his work as a Fellow in Skull-based Surgery in Germany and holds a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery Bypass from Japan. Dr. Mhatre’s areas of expertise encompass a wide range of conditions, including Head & Neck Tumour Embolization, Nerve and Muscle Disorders, Laminectomy, Peripheral Neurosurgery, Peripheral Nerve, Foot Drop, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Treatment, and Carotid Cavernous Fistula Treatment. His special interests lie in Brain Arteriovenous Fistula Embolization, Multiple Sclerosis, Peripheral Neurosurgery, and Brain Aneurysm Coiling.
