Brief About Dr. Meher Kothari
Dr. Meher Kothari is a highly experienced ophthalmologist and glaucoma surgeon based in Mumbai, India. He completed his MS in Ophthalmology from Schell Eye Hospital, Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore, and his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram.
Dr. Kothari also pursued further training, including a DNB and Fellowships in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus from Arvind Eye Hospital, Madurai, and Pediatric Neuro-ophthalmology from Smith Kettelwell Eye Research Institute, San Francisco, CA, USA. He is known for his pioneering work in the field, including establishing the first ocular motility laboratory in India for the management of nystagmus, squint, and eye movement disorders.
Dr. Kothari’s special interests include the treatment of Nystagmus and eye motility disorders. He is an active member of several prestigious medical societies and has conducted workshops on Nystagmology.
