Brief About Dr. Mehul Choksi
Dr. Mehul Choksi is a distinguished Medical Gastroenterologist with 16 years of experience based in Mumbai, India. He specializes in diagnostic gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic sclerotherapy, variceal ligation, peptic ulcer treatment, snare polypectomy, among other procedures.
Dr. Choksi was honored with the Oral Paper Award at the 50th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology in Kolkata in 2009 and was nominated for the Best Shatayushi Foundation Medical Student in 2000. He completed his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi Medical College in 2001, followed by DNB in General Medicine from St John’s Medical College Bangalore in 2004, and DM in Gastroenterology from Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore in 2010.
Dr. Choksi has received specialized training through the Peter Cotton Advanced Endoscopy Travel Fellowship and Advanced Endoscopy Observership at the Center for Interventional Endoscopy. He has previously worked at prestigious institutions such as Tata Memorial Hospital, Bombay Hospital and Medical Research Center, Jagjivanram Railway Hospital, and KJ Somaiya Medical College & Hospital. Currently, he is a member of the Association of Interventional GI Endoscopy Foundation, India.
