Dr. Murugu Sundara Pandiyan has over 26 years of experience in the field of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. He has performed over 3800 adult, pediatric, thoracic, and aortic procedures with a high success rate. Dr. Murugu Sundara Pandiyan earned his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in general surgery from the reputed Christian Medical College in Vellore, India. In addition, he earned his M.Ch (CTVS) from the SCTIMST in Trivandrum.
Furthermore, he served as an overseas registrar at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, Australia, where he was given the title of ‘Chief Resident,‘ a title that is seldom given to non-resident trainees. Throughout his academic career, he has published numerous publications in prestigious national and international journals. He was also involved in hosting CME programs & International conferences.
