Brief About Dr. Mustafa Öncel
Dr. Mustafa Oncel, a medical oncologist based in Istanbul, Turkey, has over 21 years of experience in the field. He is currently a professor at Medipol University Hospital in Istanbul. Throughout his career, Dr. Öncel has made significant contributions to the medical community. He has authored more than 70 articles in both national and international journals and books. Additionally, he has presented over 40 papers in various courses. Dr. Öncel is an esteemed member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Society of Trauma, Turkish Society Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgery, American Society of Colorectal Surgeons, Turkish Society of Colorectal Surgery, European Society of Coloproctology, and Eurasian Colorectal Technologies Association. Dr. Öncel’s educational background is equally impressive. He completed his medical degree at the Medical School of Istanbul University, followed by residency at Kartal Education and Research Hospital. He furthered his training with a fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, US. Dr. Öncel’s special interests lie in the field of Intestine Cancer and Minimally Invasive Surgery.
