Brief About Dr. Narayan Jayashankar
Dr. Narayan Jayashankar is an experienced ENT surgeon based in Mumbai, India. With a career spanning 23 years, he has developed a keen interest in various procedures including nasal endoscopy, skull base surgery, ear reconstruction, middle ear surgery, sinus surgery, optic nerve decompression, vertigo, and more. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to medical education, he was awarded the Jewel of India by the Indian Solidarity Council in 2015. Dr. Narayan achieved the 1st Rank in ENT University in 1992 and holds degrees from prestigious institutions such as KIMS University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the National Board of Examinations.
He has also received specialized training from the National Academy of Medical Sciences. Dr. Narayan is an active member of professional associations such as the Skull Base Surgery Society of India, Association of Otolaryngologists of India, Indian Society of Otology, and Indian Society of Rhinology. His special interests include nasal endoscopy, hearing aid fitting, skull base surgery, reconstructive middle ear surgery, head and neck tumor/cancer surgery, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, orbital and optic nerve decompression, CSF rhinorrhoea repair surgery, sleep apnea, vertigo/dizziness, ear microsurgery, surgery for snoring, hearing and speech impairment, audiometry tests, and thyroid disorder treatment.
