Brief About Dr. Narayana Subramaniam
Dr. Narayana Subramaniam is a Surgical Oncologist based in Bangalore, India. With over 9 years of experience, he specializes in head and neck surgery oncology. His expertise lies in ablative surgery of various areas including the oral cavity, salivary glands, thyroid, oropharynx, larynx, sinonasal cavity, pharynx, and anterior skull base.
Dr. Subramaniam completed his MBBS and MS in general surgery before pursuing MCh in head and neck oncology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi. He has also obtained certifications in transoral robotic surgery (TORS) from the University of Pennsylvania and robotic surgery from Delhi.
In addition to his extensive experience and qualifications, Dr. Subramaniam has contributed significantly to the field of surgical oncology. He has authored fifty published book chapters, articles, or abstracts, and has delivered over forty scientific presentations. His outstanding research work was recognized with the Amrita Outstanding Research Award in 2018.
Furthermore, Dr. Subramaniam actively participates in national clinical trials as a co-principal investigator and national coordinator. These trials are funded by the National Cancer Grid.
