Dr. Naresh Trehan is a renowned Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Surgeon with over 42 years of experience. He is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta – The Medicity, a 1500-bed multi-super specialty institute that provides cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art treatment facilities at an affordable price. In addition, he was awarded Fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2002.
Dr. Naresh received his medical education at King George’s Medical University in Lucknow in 1968, followed by Diploma studies in cardiothoracic surgery from the American Board of Surgery in the United States. In 2002, he was also awarded Fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Additionally, he has been the personal physician to the President of India since 1991.
