He earned his MBBS in 1993 from Al-Ameen Medical College in Bijapur, a Diploma in Orthopaedics in 1997 from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (SRMC) in Madras, India, and a DNB – Orthopedics/Orthopedic Surgery in 1999 from the National Board of Education in New Delhi.
