Dr. Neeraj Khunger is a highly experienced Ophthalmologist based in Ajmer, India. With over 29 years of expertise in the field of ophthalmology, he is considered a leading professional in his field. Dr. Khunger is a proud member of the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, showcasing his commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in his field. He obtained his MBBS degree in 1988 from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, followed by an MD from the R. P Centre, AIIMS in 1991. Dr. Khunger specializes in cataract and LASIK & refractive surgeries, as well as glaucoma treatment. He is renowned as the pioneer of Phacoemulsification cataract surgery in Rajasthan, a technique he has been successfully performing since 1996. Dr. Khunger’s expertise has been recognized internationally, as he was invited as a guest faculty for a live surgery at Dr. RP Centre in 1997 and presented a video at the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons in 2014. He has also contributed to the field through research papers and presentations at various conferences organized by the All India Ophthalmological Society and state-level conferences.
