Brief About Dr. Neerja Goel
Dr. Neerja Goel is a highly experienced Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with over 38 years of expertise in the field. She is currently affiliated with Sharda Hospital in Greater Noida, India. Dr. Goel’s areas of interest include Reproductive Endocrinology, High-risk pregnancy, Preventive Oncology, Menopause, Anovulation, and Endoscopic Surgery. She is not only a skilled surgeon but has also developed numerous clinical skills and efficient surgical techniques. Dr. Goel has been recognized for her contributions to the medical field and has received prestigious awards such as Fellow Of National Academy Of Medical Sciences (FAMS), Fellow Of Indian College Of Obstetricians And Gynecologists (FICOG), Fellow Of International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA), and Founder Fellow Of Geriatric Society Of India (FFIGS). She has an impressive publication record with over 100 publications, 13 books, and 45 chapters in various national and international books. Her books are highly regarded and frequently updated. One of her notable works, “State Of The Art–Vaginal Surgery,” has been translated into multiple languages, including Spanish. Dr. Goel has also delivered over 100 scientific lectures, including orations, and presented more than 45 research presentations. As an academician, she excels as a teacher and mentor for MD thesis students, with many of her students receiving gold medals at both local and national levels. In recognition of her service to the medical community, she was honored with the highest State Award by the former Chief Minister, Mrs. Sheila Dixit, in 2011. Dr. Goel is an active member of 7 academic bodies and has held various important positions in different organizations. She is also a patron of NARCHI and AOGD. In addition to her professional commitments, Dr. Goel dedicates her time to providing specialized care to underprivileged patients in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.
