Brief About Dr. Nilesh G. Satbai
Dr Nilesh G. Satbai is a highly experienced consultant based in Mumbai, India. With over 9 years of working experience, he specializes in Cosmetic, Hand, and Reconstructive Microsurgery. Dr Satbai received his training in Plastic Surgery from the prestigious Seth G. S. Medical College and K.E.M Hospital in Mumbai. He has also undergone extensive international training, including fellowships in various countries in Pacific Asia. Notably, he completed his Fellowship in Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery at Ganga Medical Centre and Hospitals in Coimbatore, under the guidance of Dr. S. Raja Sabapathy. Furthermore, he pursued a Fellowship in Hand Surgery, Brachial plexus, and peripheral nerve surgery at Ogori Daiichi General Hospital in Yamaguchi, Japan, under the mentorship of Prof. Kazuteru Doi.
Additionally, he gained valuable experience through a Travelling fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at Chang Gung Medical Hospital in Linkou, Taiwan, under the guidance of Prof. Fu-Chan Wei and Prof. David CC Chuang. Dr Satbai is an active member of various professional bodies, including the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI), Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand (ISSH), Indian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ISRM), Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), and the National Academy of Burns, India (NABI). His areas of special interest include Plastic Surgery, Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery, Brachial Plexus and Peripheral nerve surgery, and Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Surgery.
