Brief About Dr. Nitin Shah
Dr. Nitin Shah is a highly regarded Pediatric Hematologist based in Mumbai, India. With an impressive 34 years of experience in the field, he is a Senior Consultant at P.D Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre. Dr. Shah holds various prestigious positions, including being the President of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and a Member (India) of the Asian Strategic Alliance for Pneumococcal disease prevention (ASAP). He is also a Fellow of the Indian Society of Hematology and Transfusion Medicine.
Dr. Shah specializes in the treatment of blood disorders in children, such as lymphomas and leukemias. He is also well-versed in managing cancers that commonly affect children, including osteosarcoma, neuroblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, Wilms Tumour, and more. His educational background includes MBBS, MD – Paediatrics, and a Diploma in Child Health (DCH).
