Brief About Dr. Nitin Sonavane
Dr. Nitin Sonavane is a highly experienced Nephrologist based in Mumbai, India. With over 15 years of expertise in the field, he is a Senior Consultant at S. L. Raheja Hospital. Dr. Sonavane is an Active Member of both the Maharastra Medical Council and the Indian Medical Association. He completed his MBBS from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 1999. Subsequently, he pursued MD – General Medicine from Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 2005, and DNB – Nephrology from Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai in 2009. During his training, he had the privilege of learning from Dr. Ho Yung Lee, MD, Ph.D., a renowned figure in the field of Nephrology and the Director of Nephrology & Chief of the Institute of Kidney Disease.
Dr. Sonavane’s areas of specialization include ABO-incompatible Blood Group Kidney Transplant, Adult Nephrology, Renal (Kidney) Surgery, Kidney Stone Treatment, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Nephrology ICU, and more. He has made significant contributions to the field through his publications and scientific presentations in national and international journals. With a special interest in Nephrology ICU, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Kidney Stone Treatment, Nephrotic Syndrome Treatment, Dialysis/Haemodialysis, and Acute Kidney Disease (AKI), Dr. Sonavane is dedicated to providing comprehensive and advanced care to his patients.
