Brief About Dr. Ooi Ee Thiam
Dr. Ooi Ee Thiam is a highly experienced Medical Gastroenterologist with over 20 years of expertise in Hepatology. He is currently serving as a Consultant at Sunway Medical Centre in Selangor, Malaysia. Dr. Ooi specializes in various procedures including Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
He is an esteemed member of the Malaysian Medical Council, the Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and the Malaysian Medical Association. Dr. Ooi Ee Thiam completed his MBBS degree from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1999. He further pursued his MRCP qualification from the Royal College of Physicians, UK in 2004.
Additionally, he completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology in 2009 from the Ministry of Health Malaysia. Dr. Ooi Ee Thiam is fluent in English, Mandarin, Hokkien, and Bahasa Malaysia. His special interests lie in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
