With 34+ years of expertise, he currently serves as the Chief of Gastrointestinal Surgery and Minimal Access Surgery, GI Oncosurgeon, and Bariatric Surgeon at Global Hospital in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Dr. Rao is renowned for his pioneering work in Single Port Surgery, being the first to utilize the Triport access device.
He is also one of the few surgeons in the country performing total laparoscopic whipple’s procedure (pancreaticoduodenectomy).
