Dr. R. Padmakumar is a distinguished Laparoscopic and Metabolic Surgeon with over 23 years of experience. He is recognized for his expertise in the latest treatment techniques, positioning him as a top Obesity Surgeon in India and UAE. Dr. Padmakumar has successfully conducted more than 6,000 Laparoscopic Hernia Surgeries and was the first surgeon authorized by the UAE’s Ministry of Health to perform keyhole surgery for diabetes.
His specialization includes endoscopic thyroidectomy, thoracoscopy, laparoscopic colorectal and hernia surgery. Notably, he holds a world record for the youngest age Branchial Cyst Endoscopic removal and a successful bowel surgery at 2gm Hb without blood transfusion.
