Brief About Dr. Raja Tewari
Dr. Raja Tewari is a highly experienced surgical oncologist and gynecologic oncologist, with over 12 years of practice. He received specialized training in gynecological oncology from the prestigious East Kent Cancer Center in the UK. Dr. Tewari is a proud member of various esteemed medical organizations, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London, the European Society of Gynecological Oncologist, the American Association of Laparoscopic Gynecologists, and the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
He further honed his skills through fellowships in gynecological oncology and laparoscopic gynecological oncology at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital in London, as well as the University Hospital of North Midlands in the UK. Dr. Tewari’s exceptional contributions to the field have been recognized with numerous awards, including honors at level and distinction at ‘A’ level, as well as a distinction in ANATOMY for his research on the significance of tumor markers in gynae oncology at QEQM, Margate in June 2013.
His areas of special interest encompass a wide range of treatments, such as gastrointestinal endoscopic mucosal resection, Ewing’s Sarcoma treatment, breast cancer treatment, mastectomy, lung cancer treatment, brachytherapy (internal radiation therapy), hormone therapy for breast cancer, and head and neck tumor/cancer surgery.
