Brief About Dr. Rajiv Parakh
Dr. Rajiv Parakh is a highly experienced Vascular Surgeon based in Gurgaon, India. With over 21 years of expertise in Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular sciences, he currently serves as the Chairman at Medanta – The Medicity. Dr. Parakh is known for establishing one of the country’s first independent departments of vascular surgery at a city hospital. His areas of specialization include Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, Carotid Surgery, Endovascular Interventions, Endovascular Repair of Aneurysm, Below the knee angioplasty & Vascular Trauma.
He has also been actively involved in teaching programs by the National Board of Examiners. Dr. Parakh completed his MBBS and MD from Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi in 1981 and 1986 respectively, and obtained FRCS in general surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, United Kingdom in 1987.
He is a Founder & Life Member of Vascular Society of India (VSI) since 1997, Founder & Executive Committee Member of Endovascular Intervention Society of India (EISI), and a Member of the European Society of Vascular Surgery (ESVS).
Dr. Parakh has chaired significant conferences and orations in the field of vascular surgery, showcasing his commitment to advancing the field.
