Brief About Dr. Rajkumar Shah
Dr. Rajkumar Shah is a highly experienced Gynecologist & Obstetrician based in Mumbai, India. With a career spanning nearly four decades, he specializes in treating obstetric issues, high-risk pregnancies, vaginoplasty, hysteroscopy, and antenatal care. Dr. Shah is a recipient of the prestigious Dr. KM Masani Prize in 1983 for his work on placental migration demonstrated by USG, and again in 1985 for his contributions to the “War on prematurity”.
He obtained his MBBS degree in 1981, followed by an MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1984 from King Edward Memorial Hospital. Dr. Shah furthered his expertise with specialized training in FCPS in General Surgery and FICOG from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Mumbai in 1983. Throughout his career, he has held positions at renowned institutions such as RN Cooper Hospital, Nowrosjee Wadia Hospital, and LTMM College as a lecturer. Dr. Shah’s special interests include obstetrics problems, prenatal checkups, gynecological issues, pregnancy exercise, antenatal care, diseases in pregnancy, and high-risk pregnancy care.
