Brief About Dr. Rakesh Agarwal
Dr. Rakesh Agarwal is a highly respected Radiation Oncologist based in Pune, India. With over 25 years of experience in the field, he is considered a senior consultant at Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital. Dr. Agarwal specializes in various advanced techniques such as SRT, SBRT, SRS, IMRS, and IGRT to effectively treat both benign and malignant conditions. He obtained his MBBS degree from Awadesh Pratap Singh Vishwavidyalaya in 1991, followed by an MS in Radiotherapy from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur in 1998. Dr. Agarwal’s research interests primarily lie in head and neck cancer, as well as breast and brain tumors. He has contributed to the field through numerous research papers published in renowned national and international journals. Additionally, Dr. Agarwal is an esteemed member of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India. His special interests include Stereotactic radiosurgery, Stereotactic body radiotherapy, and Image-guided radiation therapy.
