Dr. Ramesh Makam is a well-known General Surgeon with over 31 years of experience. He was a member of the first team in India to conduct laparoscopic Roux-en-yen Gastric Bypass surgery. He also founded the world-famous Bangalore Endoscopic Surgery Training Institute & Research Institute, which has trained over 600 practitioners from five continents.
Dr. Ramesh earned his MBBS in 1985 from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and his DNB in General Surgery in 1990. Previously, he worked at AV Hospital, BGS Global Hospital, and Vikram Hospital. Since 1985, he has been a student at Karnataka Medical College.
