Brief About Dr. Rujuta Mehta
Dr. Rujuta Mehta is a highly esteemed Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon based in Mumbai, India. With an impressive 24 years of experience, she has established herself as an expert in various treatments including muscle release treatment, ligament reconstruction, skeletal muscle therapy, external fixation, hip resurfacing, and osteotomy. In recognition of her exceptional skills, Dr. Rujuta was honored with the Marcela Uribe Zamudio Award for Outstanding Lady Orthopedic Surgeon in 2008.
Dr. Rujuta’s educational background is equally impressive. She completed her MBBS from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital in 1993, followed by an MS in Orthopedics from Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences in 1996. She further pursued a DNB in Orthopedic surgery from the same institute in 1998. In 2003, she gained valuable expertise in Pediatric Orthopedics through a Fellowship at Boston’s Children Hospital in the USA.
