Dr. S.V. Kotwal is a renowned urologist in India. He has more than 40 years of expertise. Dr. S. V. Kotwal has vast expertise in all areas of urology and has completed 300 renal transplants in addition to one of the biggest personal series of PCNL in North India (almost 4000). And has performed the most percutaneous nephrolithotomies, minimally invasive surgery to remove kidney stones through a tiny puncture incision (up to roughly 1 cm) through the skin. Dr. S.V. Kotwal has operated several arduous genito-urinary reconstructive operations which include gender reassignment surgery as well.

Dr. S.V. Kotwal did his M.B.B.S. from Grant Medical College, Bombay University & M.S. (Gen. Surgery) from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, Then he completed his M.Ch. (Urology) at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi. He has developed microsurgery in the Armed Forces and has extensive exposure to Uro-Oncology and Pediatric Urology. Dr. S.V. Kotwal is a recognized postgraduate teacher for MS (General Surgery) and M.Ch (Urology) Degrees at the University of Pune and an MS Degree at Delhi University.
