Dr. Saim Ergun is a highly experienced otolaryngologist with over 35 years of expertise. He has made significant contributions to the field, including performing the first laser stapedotomy in Sweden in 1994 and introducing the same procedure to Turkey in 2001. Dr. Saim also pioneered the laser-assisted surgery of Zenker’s diverticulum at American Hospital, Turkey in 1995. He is an esteemed member of both the Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish Association of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Saim has published 6 scientific articles in renowned international journals. His areas of specialization encompass various procedures such as ear surgery, Zenker operation, BAHA (Bone Anchored Hearing Aid), FESS (Functional Sinus Surgery), and Laser stapedotomy. Dr. Saim Ergün completed his Ear, Nose, and Throat specialization training at Swedish Nordland University in Norway in 1983 and Çukurova University in Adana in 1979.
