Brief About Dr. Samith A. Shetty
Dr. Samith A. Shetty is an experienced Endocrinologist based in Bangalore, India. With over 10 years of successful practice, he has established himself as a trusted consultant in the field. Dr. Shetty completed his MBBS from Kuvempu University, Karnataka in 2002, and went on to pursue a PGDD in Diabetology from the University of South Wales, UK in 2013. He has also obtained a Fellowship in Epidemiology and attended the prestigious Cambridge Diabetes Seminar (CDS) at Cambridge University.
Dr. Shetty specializes in managing various complications of diabetes, including diabetic foot, neuropathy, and end-organ damage such as nephropathy. He is well-versed in treating Type 2 diabetes in young individuals and children, as well as LADA (latent autoimmune diabetes in adults). His extensive knowledge in the field has made him a mentor to numerous aspiring doctors, and he has delivered lectures on endocrinology.
