After graduating from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (TNMGRMU) in 2009, he went on to earn his MD in General Medicine from Darbhanga Medical College in 2013, and his DM in Cardiology from Govt Medical College, Trivandrum in 2016.
