Brief About Dr. Sanjay Goja
Dr. Sanjay Goja, a Liver Transplant Surgeon based in Bangalore, India, boasts over 14 years of experience in the field. He holds the distinction of being the first surgeon in India to conduct a robotic hepatectomy. Dr. Goja is an esteemed member of various prestigious organizations such as the American College of Surgeons, Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons, International Liver Transplant Society, Clinical Robotic Surgery, and International Association of Surgeons, Gynecologist & Oncologists.
His research and contributions have been featured in both National and International Journals. Dr. Goja’s educational background includes an MBBS from Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Raipur, a Master in Surgery from Pt. B.D Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, and a DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation from Sri Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
He has also completed fellowships in Liver Transplantation from Sri Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, Multi-Organ and Liver Transplantation from the European Board, and a fellowship from the American College of Surgeons. In addition, he has undertaken a Laparoscopic Liver Resection Course from Ethicon Institute Cincinnati in 2012. Dr. Goja’s areas of special interest include Robotic Hepatectomy and HPB Surgery.
