Dr. Selahattin Ozmen has over 26 years of experience as a plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon. He has received 21 awards, including six international awards for his studies with the TUBITAK scholarship. In 2004, he received the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS) Young Scholarship Award and studied craniofacial surgery at the Sahlgrenska Academy in Sweden. Simultaneously, he is one of two doctors in Turkey to receive the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation’s (PSEF) Best Experimental Study Award, a highly regarded honor in the United States.
In the meantime, he has published over 80 articles in international journals and 50 in national journals. Furthermore, he graduated from Hacettepe University in Ankara in 1995, completed a residency in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at Gazi University in Ankara in 2002, an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Gazi University in Ankara in 2013, and a hand and microsurgery residency at Gazi University in Ankara in 2013.
