Brief About Dr. Shailendra Nath Gaur
Dr. Shailendra Nath Gaur, a highly esteemed Pulmonologist with over 40 years of successful practice, is currently serving as the Head of the Department at Sharda Hospital in Greater Noida, India. Dr. Gaur specializes in treating a wide range of respiratory diseases, including anaerobic lung disease, Allergy and Immunotherapy, Farmer lung disease, and various rare fungal diseases.
He has been honored with 12 National Awards and has received numerous academic accolades. Throughout his career, Dr. Gaur has been actively involved in teaching and research in Respiratory Medicine, serving as an Examiner for DTCD, MD, DNB, Ph.D. in several Indian Universities. He has participated in various conferences and delivered 165 Guest Lectures.
Dr. Gaur is a member of the working group of Ministry of Environment and Forest, the Chairman of Allergen Standardization committee of CDSCO, Ministry of Health, and the secretary of National College of Chest Physicians (India). Additionally, he is a Commonwealth Fellow and has published over 200 original papers in National and International journals.
Dr. Gaur also holds the position of Editor-in-chief for Indian J. Chest Diseases and Allied Sciences and Indian J Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. His special interests include numerous Respiratory Diseases, Anaerobic Lung Disease, Allergy Immunotherapy, Farmer Lung Disease, and Different Rare Fungal Diseases.
