Brief About Dr. Shakuntala V Shah
Dr. Shakuntala V Shah is a highly experienced Surgical Oncologist based in Gandhinagar, India. With over 23 years of experience, she specializes in the surgical treatment of breast tumors, as well as other breast surgeries and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Shah is a respected member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Surgical Oncology and is known for introducing the blue dye technique in sentinel node biopsy for breast cancer in Gujarat. She completed her graduation from Gujarat University in 1973 and obtained her MS in General Surgery in 1997. Throughout her career, Dr. Shah has held positions as a lecturer and professor at the Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, where she also served as the Head of the Department for 10 years.
