Brief About Dr. Sharmila Thukral
Dr Sharmila Thukral is a highly experienced nephrologist who is currently affiliated with Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Shibpur in Howrah and NH Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences. With a remarkable career spanning over 35 years, Dr Thukral has served as an expert in various cities across India. Previously, she was associated with Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Andul Road.
Throughout her career, Dr Sharmila Thukral has successfully managed numerous complex medical cases in different hospitals. She is renowned for her meticulous approach to accurate diagnosis and her compassionate treatment of patients. Her areas of expertise include Renal Cysts, Renal Failure, Pyelonephritis, and Polycystic Kidney Disease. Additionally, she actively participates as a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
Dr Thukral completed her MBBS from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in 1989, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from PGIMS, Rohtak. She further pursued a DNB in Nephrology from Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad. Her dedication to the field is evident through her involvement in research work and participation in various workshops under the nephrology department. She has also published numerous papers.
