Brief About Dr. Shirish Hiremath
Dr. Shirish Hiremath is an esteemed Interventional Cardiologist with over 41 years of experience in the field. He currently serves as the Director at Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune, India. Dr. Hiremath specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, as well as congenital and structural heart conditions. He is highly skilled in performing catheter-based procedures such as coronary angioplasty and stenting.
Dr. Hiremath’s academic journey has been marked by success. He obtained his MD degree from Sasoon University and received further training in cardiology, including a DM degree, from Lokmanya Hospital Sion in Mumbai. In 1982, he established a strong foundation in cardiology at Joshi Hospital in Erandwane. Throughout his career, Dr. Hiremath has gained extensive experience in angioplasty and is recognized as one of the top angioplasters in the country. In fact, he was appointed as the Chairman of the National Intervention Council (NIC) from 2005 to 2006.
