Brief About Dr. Shobhana Sankar
Dr. Shobhana Sankar is a highly experienced general pediatrician based in Bangalore, India. With over 11 years of practice, she has developed a strong expertise in various areas of pediatric care. Her clinical interests lie in newborn care, vaccination, infant feeding, lactation management, and neonatal emergencies.
Dr. Shobhana is a dedicated professional and a life member of the prestigious Indian Academy of Pediatrics. She has been recognized for her academic excellence, having won numerous prizes in academic quizzes during her undergraduate studies, including 5 distinctions.
Dr. Shobhana obtained her MBBS degree from Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai and completed her MD in Pediatrics from the Institute of Child’s Health and Children’s Hospital (ICH), also in Chennai.
