Brief About Dr. Sudhansu Bhattacharyya
Dr. Sudhansu Bhattacharyya is a highly experienced cardiothoracic surgeon based in Mumbai, India. With over 36 years of practice, he has established himself as a Senior Consultant at P.D Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre. Dr. Bhattacharyya completed his MBBS and pursued further studies, including an MS in general surgery from Vadilal Sarabhai Hospital, Gujarat, and an M.Ch in Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery from G. S. Medical College, K.E.M Hospital, Mumbai. He also undertook a fellowship in Advanced Training Coronary Bypass Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital, USA, under the guidance of Dr. Dudley Johnson.
Dr. Bhattacharyya is a fellow of prestigious organizations such as the Indian Association of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons and the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Surgeons. He has held significant leadership positions within the field, including Vice-President and President of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons. In 2012, he was honored as a member of the Arch Klumph Society in Evanston, Illinois, USA, for his generous contributions.

He was also recognized as the ‘LIONS Favorite Doctor’ and received the “Personality of the Decade Award” for his exceptional work in Cardiovascular Surgery, particularly in Coronary Bypass Surgery.
