Brief About Dr. Sunanda Anand
Dr. Sunanda Anand, a Neurologist based in Mumbai, India, has an extensive 23 years of experience in the field. She is currently serving as a Consultant at S. L. Raheja Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Anand specializes in various neurological disorders including Vagus Nerve Stimulation, Neurophysiology, Deep Brain Stimulation, Neurorehabilitation, Epilepsy Treatment, and Parkinson’s Disease treatment.
She excelled academically, receiving a Merit Scholarship and a Gold Medal in Gynecology and Pharmacology during her MBBS studies. Dr. Anand completed her MBBS from Government Medical College in 1994, followed by MD Medicine in 1997, and later obtained her DM in Neurology in 2005 from the University of Delhi. Prior to her current position, she has held roles at esteemed institutions such as Kem Hospital as a senior research Associate and Safdarjang Hospital as a senior resident.
Dr. Anand’s special interests lie in Spinal Tap, Neurological Problems, Vascular Surgery, Vagus Nerve Stimulation (Epilepsy), Neurological dysfunction, Neuromuscular Disorders, Neurophysiology, and Interventional neuroradiology.
