Brief About Dr. Suraj Bhagat
Dr. Suraj Bhagat is a highly experienced Surgical Gastroenterologist with a career spanning 18 years. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant at Medanta – The Medicity in Gurgaon, India. Dr. Bhagat specializes in various areas of Gastroenterology, including the treatment of GERD, Bowel obstruction, Crohn’s disease, Whipple surgery, anti-reflux procedures, and appendectomy. He obtained his specialization in Gastroenterology from the prestigious PGIMER in Chandigarh and also holds an MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Bhagat worked as a senior research associate at Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh and as an assistant professor at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi. He is a lifetime member of the Royal College of Physicians of the UK, the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, and the Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India.
