Dr. Suresh Joshi, a renowned Cardiac Surgeon based in Mumbai, India, has an impressive career spanning 39 years. He currently serves as the Director at Jaslok Hospital. Dr. Joshi is widely recognized as one of the top Cardiac Surgeons in India, with a wealth of experience exceeding 40 years. Throughout his career, he has successfully performed over 15,000 surgeries, including intricate heart valve replacement procedures, minimally invasive heart bypass surgery, and aortic aneurysm repair. Notably, Dr. Joshi holds the distinction of being the first trained Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgeon in Western India.
He achieved a significant milestone by conducting the first Open-Heart surgery on a newborn baby in Mumbai. Additionally, he introduced the pioneering technique of ‘Minimally Invasive and Thoracoscopic Cardiac Surgery’ to India.
