Brief About Dr. Suresh Raghavaiah
Dr. Suresh Raghavaiah is a highly experienced GI, HPB, and Multi-organ Transplant Surgeon based in Bangalore, India. With over 17 years of experience, he specializes in liver transplants, kidney transplants, pancreas transplants, surgeries for kidney, liver, and pancreatic cancer, bile duct cancer surgery, and correction of bile-duct surgeries.
Dr. Raghavaiah has an impressive track record, having performed 800 kidney transplants, 400 liver transplants (including Cadaveric and Living Donor Liver transplants), over 200 liver resections, 150 pancreatic surgeries, and 32 laparoscopic pancreatic necrosectomies. He holds the record for the highest number of Pancreas Transplant Surgeries in the State of Karnataka, India.
Dr. Raghavaiah is a member of various prestigious medical societies and has presented and published internationally. He completed his MBBS from AIMS, Bellur, and MS in General Surgery from St. Johns Medical College Hospital, Bangalore.
Additionally, he pursued fellowships in minimally invasive Hepato-biliary surgery in Paris and post-doctoral research in immunology in the USA.
