Dr. Tamer Saafan is a Consultant in General, Laparoscopic, and Bariatric Surgery at Medcare Royal Specialty Hospital & Medcare Hospital Sharjah. With over 24 years of experience, he holds an MBBS, PhD, and MD in Bariatric Surgery from Ain Shams University, Egypt, and completed his Fellowship in Taiwan under Prof. Lee. Dr. Saafan has worked in Egypt, Kuwait, and the UAE, including at Thumbay Hospital and Saudi German Hospital, and is actively involved in international surgical conferences and research.
Dr. Tamer Saafan specializes in laparoscopic bariatric surgeries, hernia repairs, cholecystectomy, and emergencies like appendectomy. He also performs anal surgeries like THD, hemorrhoidectomy, and fistulectomy. He speaks Arabic and English.
