Brief About Dr. Uday Thanawala
Dr. Uday Thanawala is a highly experienced Gynaecologist and Obstetrician based in Mumbai, India. With over 37 years of practice, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the field. Dr. Thanawala has held various prestigious positions throughout his career, including Vice-Chairman of the Indian College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ICOG) in 2018, Vice President of the Federation Of Obstetrics & Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI) in 2015, Treasurer of the PCOS Society Of India, Chairperson of the Medical Disorders in Pregnancy Committee of FOGSI from 2006 to 2008, and Joint Secretary of FOGSI in 2005. He is also the Founder Secretary and Past President of the Navi Mumbai OBGY Society.
Dr. Thanawala’s educational background is impressive, having completed his MD from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital in Mumbai, DGO from CPS in Mumbai, DNB from the National Board in New Delhi, and FCPS where he received a Gold Medal. He has actively participated in workshops across the country, sharing his knowledge on advanced labor-management protocols and Caesarean Section techniques.
