Brief About Dr. Vadhiraja B.M
Dr. Vadhiraja B.M, a Radiation Oncologist based in Bangalore, India, has an extensive experience of nearly 20 years in the field. He currently serves as the Head of the Department at Manipal Hospital (Old Airport Road) in Bangalore. Dr. Vadhiraja specializes in various procedures including 3D Conformal Radiation, Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Image Guided Radiotherapy, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy, Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy, and Interstitial and Intracavitary Brachytherapy Procedures.
In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Vadhiraja was awarded the Fellowship for the first meeting of Young Radiation Scientist in Asia held in Hiroshima. He obtained his MBBS degree in 1995 and MD from Manipal University in 2000. Additionally, he is a member of the Karnataka Medical Council.
Apart from his clinical expertise, Dr. Vadhiraja is also a distinguished author with over 25 publications in national and international journals. His special interests lie in Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Mucosal Resection, External Beam Radiation for Prostate Cancer, Proton Therapy, Cancer Screening (Preventive), and Breast Cancer Management.
