Dr. Veda Padma Priya S is a highly experienced surgical oncologist based in Chennai, India. With over 10 years of expertise in the field, she specializes in various procedures related to breast oncology, including breast conservation surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, prophylactic mastectomy, axillary surgery, modified radical mastectomy, skin-sparing mastectomy, oncoplasty, oncology/breast reconstruction, LICAP, and TDAP reconstruction.
Dr. Veda Padma Priya S obtained her MBBS degree from Coimbatore Medical College, Coimbatore, followed by an MS in general surgery from Madurai Medical College, Madurai. She further pursued a DNB in Surgical Oncology from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi.
Apart from her clinical practice, Dr. Veda Padma Priya S has made significant contributions to the field through her authored books, guides, and publications of national and international repute. She has also played an active role in organizing numerous national and international conferences.
Her dedication and exceptional performance have been recognized with awards such as the Best Resident Award for Outstanding Performance from Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi in 2012, and the Chairman’s Appreciation Award from the same institution in 2016.
