Brief About Dr. Veena Acharya
Dr. Veena Acharya, a renowned Gynaecologist and Obstetrician in India, has over 40 years of experience in the field. She is currently an Associate Professor at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital in Jaipur. Dr. Acharya specializes in various areas including Preventive Oncology, Reproductive medicine, Maternal & child health, Minor & major gynaecology & obstetrics Surgery, Colposcopy, and Menopause care.
She is a member of prestigious organizations such as the Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), the International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project (ISCCP), the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Indian Medical Service (IMS), and the Native American Research Centre for Health (NARCH). Dr. Acharya has contributed to the medical field through numerous publications, journals, and articles. She completed her MBBS in 1973 and MS in 1978 from SMS Medical College in Jaipur, India.
Additionally, she holds a Diploma in HIV/AIDS from Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Veena Acharya is fluent in both Hindi and English. Her special interests lie in Infertility, Menopause, Operative obstetrics, and Advanced gynecological laparoscopy.
