Dr. Venugopal Bhaskaran Pillai is a renowned Liver Transplant Surgeon with over 21 years of experience in Liver and Pancreatic Surgeries. His expertise includes Living Donor Liver transplant for both adults and pediatric patients, as well as Open & Laparoscopic Liver, Biliary, and Pancreatic Surgery.
Dr. Pillai played a crucial role in the first successful combined Liver-Kidney Transplantation and Laparoscopic Right Hepatectomy in Kerela. He also successfully performed a Pediatric Liver Transplant for a baby weighing 6.4 kg. With numerous papers and publications, Dr. Pillai is passionate about surgical innovations.
