Brief About Dr. Vijay Kulkarni
Dr. Vijay Kulkarni is an esteemed Urologist and Andrologist based in Mumbai, India. With over 17 years of experience in the field, he is highly regarded in his profession. Dr. Kulkarni is a proud member of both the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) and the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
He obtained his MBBS degree from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in 1972, and later completed his MS in General Surgery from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai in 1977. In recognition of his exceptional work, he was honored with the “Brij Kihor Patna” prize by the Urological Society of India in 1997 for his research on “Electro-Ejaculation in Anejaculatory Infertility.”
Additionally, he received an award for his contribution to “Andrological needs in Paraplegics” at the annual meeting of USI, Hyderabad in 2000. Dr. Kulkarni has been actively involved in various seminars focusing on Erectile Dysfunction and Male Infertility, and he possesses extensive expertise in Assisted Reproductive Techniques.
Over the years, he has presented numerous scientific papers at regional, national, and international conferences. Furthermore, Dr. Kulkarni has served as a Programme Coordinator and Director for 13 National Andrological workshops held across India in the past decade.
His areas of special interest include the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction, HIV Counselling, Pre-Marital Counselling, Male Sexual Problems, and Azoospermia Treatment.
